Silver Award of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the innovation Kerrock line 1600

On Wednesday, 10 September 2024,  the company Kolpa, d.o.o. Metlika, took part in the Innovation Day, which is organised annually by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. Kolpa, d.o.o. Metlika received a silver award for its innovation Kerrock line 1600. The event, which highlighted innovations that contribute to sustainable development, was held this year under the motto “We chose sustainability”, underlining the importance of innovative solutions for the future.

The development of the technology and the investment in the new Kerrock 1600 production line are based on a strategic focus on continuous improvement and offering innovative products that are unmatched by the competition. Automated and digitised production processes shorten work processes, increase productivity and reduce waste and rejects. Technologically modernised processes are refocused on the company’s sustainability objectives, including recycling.

At this year’s event, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded 10 gold, 24 silver and 12 bronze prizes, highlighting the importance of Slovenian companies and innovators in addressing key economic and environmental challenges.
